Derek McInnes criticised Rangers' first-half performance in their 1-0 first-leg victory over Jablonec.
The Rangers manager was dissatisfied with his team's early display in Conference League qualifying, saying they lacked width, tempo, and intelligence.
McInnes said: "I thought we were playing in fits and starts, without really having any real impetus and concerted pressure. Obviously I thought we hit the post and had a couple of moments.
"By and large I wasn’t happy with the first half performance."
Despite the lacklustre start, Rangers improved after the interval, eventually finding a breakthrough. The visitors were reduced to 10 men following a red card for Cammy Devlin.
McInnes felt Rangers should have capitalised more on their second-half dominance. He said: We spoke at half-time, tried to address one or two things, and I thought we were far better second half.

"I thought we played forward, we timed runs better, we connected the game better, and I thought the second half gave us a far better chance at causing them problems.
We got the goal, which we deserved at that point. I don't think they caused us too many problems in terms of chances, or saves for Ivor to make. I felt the second goal was coming. I felt there were some decent passages of play;
"Gassama has got to score and make it 2-0, a big moment that."
He had no complaints over Devlin’s dismissal, despite initially thinking the incident would result in a penalty for the home side. McInnes said: "I thought it was a penalty and we were just debating who was taking it with Lawrence not on the pitch.
"I have seen it again; it's a red card. There's no debate. I think it looks a hell of a lot worse than it actually was.
"He's obviously trying to feel a contact, but because his leg was up to try and put his body in, it's caught the boy on the shin. It looks terrible. When you see the stills of it, it looks like a red card all day long.
"But I think it looks worse than it actually was, if you know what I mean."
