Derek Carr’s first season in New Orleans has seen its share of frustrating moments with Saints teammates. And Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers was no exception.
With the Saints needing a win against lowly Carolina to keep pace in the NFC South race, a third-down sack in the second half resulted in the Saints’ fourth straight empty possession. It was safe to say that center Erik McCoy was not pleased with how Carr handled that play. He let the quarterback hear it as the Saints offense returned to the sideline.

The exchange didn’t escalate, though, and the two players were eventually seen sitting next to each other on the bench.

There’s just been too much of that with Carr this season.
