Deportations of foreign offenders has 'skyrocketed' under Labour Government

The number of foreign criminals being deported early has “rocketed” by 75 per cent under the Labour government, according to the Justice Secretary.

David Lammy announced that more than 2,700 foreign national offenders were deported under the early removal scheme over the past year, an increase from 1,560 in the last year of the Conservative government.
