Denise Welch has been the subject of a scam from online fraudsters to trick people into thinking they can win an array of different luxury prizes.
Geordie actress and Loose Women star Denise has 517,000 followers on the social media account and on Tuesday night posted on her account after being alerted to a fake account set up in her name.
The self-proclaimed 'official' account which called itself 'Denise Welch' with the handle @official_Dwelch tried to con fans with its bio which read 'Official Denise Welch giveaways page. Message me privately to be among the selected winner to stand a chance to win a brand new car, holidays and houses."
