Denise Welch's staunch defence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has seen her feature in the couple's much talked about Netflix series.
Former Coronation Street and Waterloo Road star Denise has been very vocal with her support of the often criticised Duke and Duchess of Sussex over the last few years, often clashing with her co-stars on Loose Women when Harry and Meghan's names and the accusations against them are brought up.
After the first three episodes of Netflix's Harry and Meghan got the world talking last week, the remaining parts were made available on the streaming service on Thursday and raised even more talking points that their predecessors, most notably Harry's claims that brother, Prince William, 'shouted and screamed' during a meeting with the Queen over Harry and Meghan's plans to move away from the UK.

The latter stages of the docu-series also see Meghan talk about her mental health issues and her miscarriage, before she fell pregnant with second child Lilibet. The show features clips and soundbites from a number of well known personalities including steadfast Harry and Meghan critic, Piers Morgan and the Loose Women panel.
And, whilst Denise's co-star Janet Street Porter can be heard on multiple occasions referring to Meghan as "controlling," and Gloria Hunniford sharing her concerns about the Duchess, Denise is seen on screen leaping to Meghan's defence, saying: "Nobody could take the attacking and trolling that she has taken."
Denise replied to a tweet from someone who'd watched all of Harry and Meghan's documentary and accused the Loose Women of 'ganging up' on the couple, replying: "Not me!!!"
Earlier this year, Denise called out the 'double standards' over Meghan holding husband Harry's hand as they watched the Queen lying in state. Replying to a tweet that accused the couple of being 'like lovesick teenagers," Denise fired back: "How sad that you clearly don’t have someone who wants to hold your hand," before she then shared a photo of Zara and Mike holding hands on her timeline and wrote: "Clearly too old and obviously insecure’…….oh sorry that’s just Meghan and Harry. My bad."
