The XPS name has traditionally represented the premium end of Dell's consumer laptops, but the new XPS 13 DX13260 is entering a very different part of the market. It currently starts at just $699.99, with Dell even offering student pricing from $599.
My review unit is close to the entry end of the range, with an Intel Core 5 320 processor, 8GB of RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD. Those specifications do not sound particularly exotic in 2026, but almost everything I physically interact with on the laptop feels considerably more expensive.
