Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express is here and this is what you need to know

The new Delhi - Dehradun Vande Bharat Express is India’s 18th and Uttarakhand’s first. The new express train was inaugurated today (May 25, 2023). As per reports, the Delhi - Dehradun Vande Bharat Express will run from Delhi’s Anand Vihar terminal to Dehradun while making stops at Meerut City, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Roorkee and Haridwar.

If reports are to go by, the Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express will start operations from May 29, and will cover a total distance of 302 km in just under five hours (4 hours and 45 minutes). Except Wednesdays, the express train will run on all days of the week. The express train (number 22457) will depart Anand Vihar Railway Station at 5:50 PM and will reach Dehradun station at 10:35 PM.
