NEW DELHI: The Delhi govt will start a spoken English course for the youths, said CM Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday.

The Delhi Skill & Entrepreneurship University will be offering this course, Kejriwal said.

"It would help develop one's personality, and also improve the student's job prospects", he added.

In phase-1, as many as 1 lakh students will be trained in one year in 50 centres across the national capital which would be expanded subsequently.

The CM said that youths aged 18-35 years can enrol themselves in this 3-4 month-long course.

The timings for the course would be flexible. The course is completely free, however, an amount of Rs 950 would be kept as a security deposit which would be refunded after successful completion of the course, he further added.
