Security has been tightened across Delhi ahead of a planned protest by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and INDIA bloc at Jantar Mantar on Saturday, October 10. The demonstration is aimed at demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and opposing the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise. Police have detained more than 200 people, while restrictions on Metro services, internet access and road traffic have affected movement across parts of the national capital.
