NEW DELHI: A 15-year-old boy who did not appear for his maths test was allegedly thrashed by his teacher in east Delhi’s Madhu Vihar area on Wednesday. Police have registered a case based on the child's statement and are looking into the matter, senior officers said.
According to police, the incident at Lal Bahadur Shastri hospital was reported on Wednesday after the boy was admitted to the hospital. "The teacher has been identified. It has been alleged that the teacher was annoyed as the boy did not appear in the maths test and because of this he thrashed the child," an officer said. TNN
