A Delhi cab driver accumulated 208 traffic challans, including 206 for speeding, in just over 15 months, with fines exceeding Rs 4.1 lakh, before traffic police traced him to Greater Noida and initiated proceedings to suspend his driving licence.
The 38-year-old owner-driver’s first challan was issued on June 27, 2025, while the 208th was recorded on September 6, 2026. Most of his speeding violations were captured on cameras on Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg, according to police sources.
