Colorado coach Deion Sanders made an appearance at AT&T Stadium on Thursday night to take in the Cowboys’ clash against the Seahawks.
Ahead of opening kickoff, Coach Prime visited Amazon’s Thursday Night Football Tonight pregame desk, where he caught up with the likes of former NFL stars Tony Gonzalez, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Andrew Whitworth, and Richard Sherman, as well as host Charissa Thompson.
Sanders, always in recruiting mode, jokingly requested the analysts come out of retirement and join his program in Boulder.
Coach Prime had particular interest in Whitworth, who featured in four Pro Bowls and was a two-time All-Pro across his 16-year NFL career with the Rams and Bengals. He comically told the 41-year-old that he’d like “five of you” on the Buffaloes’ offensive line.

“I’m recruiting right now, and I need one of you, two of you, five of you, and a few of you,” joked Sanders to the former NFL players.
Before kickoff in Dallas, Sanders, who was in attendance alongside his son and Colorado’s star quarterback, Shedeur, could be seen embracing Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, having a quick chat with the 81-year-old.

The Buffaloes finished the 2023 season on a down note, losing eight of their last nine games. With a move to the Big 12 looming, Sanders is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to trying to bolster Colorado’s roster, including jokingly trying to poach some former All-Pro NFL talent in Whitworth.
