'Definitely not': Max Verstappen reaction to losing F1 title revealed

Max Verstappen has insisted that he is "definitely not disappointed" after Lando Norris ended his four-year reign as F1 world champion.

Verstappen won the season-ending grand prix in Abu Dhabi, ending the campaign with more victories than any other driver, but Norris's third-place finish was enough to win the championship by two points.

It denied Verstappen a fifth consecutive title, a feat only Ferrari great Michael Schumacher has managed so far.

“Congrats, guys," he told his team after crossing the finish line.

"What a comeback in the second half of the season. We can be really proud of that. Don't be too disappointed, I am definitely not disappointed.

"Really proud of everyone who never gave up. Keep pushing, never giving up, believing in making it a success again even when it was really difficult so, thank you very much everyone.

"Thank you Honda for all these years together and all these amazing successes we've had. Definitely closed it in style."
