Defense startups previously without gov contracts start winning massive deals after Trump family investments. Now Dems demand a federal investigation

President Donald Trump announced a $6.6 billion investment with AI defense company Anduril Industries on Tuesday, marking the most recent government funding agreement involving a firm with investment ties to the president’s sons, ABC News reports.

This massive deal includes $2.9 billion from the Navy to construct a new facility in Baltimore County, Maryland. This site is slated to manufacture essential components for Virginia-class nuclear-powered fast-attack submarines. During the event, Trump noted that the shipyard will be known as Arsenal-2. He stated, “Right here in Sparrows Point, you’ll build the next generation of American submarines, including autonomous subs, torpedo tubes, and critical components for our cutting edge Virginia-class attack submarines.”
