Arsenal expect a deal for West Ham United Declan Rice to be agreed either today or tomorrow, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
Last night, the Gunners lodged a club-record offer for Rice consisting of £100million guaranteed with an additional £5million in add-ons, football.london understands. Since then, Manchester City have decided to pull out of the race, a huge boost to Mikel Arteta's side.
Now, it is claimed that the north Londoners expect the deal to be agreed within the next 48 hours as an agreement looks imminent. Taking to Twitter, Romano wrote: "Arsenal expect Declan Rice deal to be 100% agreed today or tomorrow — the club is working to get it sealed within 24/48 hours.
"It’s more than close now. #AFC All parties discussing on key details as the agreement looks imminent."
As per London World, it became evident that Rice's desire was always to stay in London during a meeting at Arteta's home. Throughout their conversations, the Spaniard conveyed to the West Ham skipper how he would be integrated into the Gunners' team.
