Celebs from all walks of life lined up to congratulate Declan Donnelly and wife Ali Astall after they announced the birth of their second child. The one half of celeb duo Ant and Dec announced the news to the world via an Instagram post.
The award-winning presenter and TV personality wrote: "Shortly before 10am yesterday, 23.7.2022, Ali and I welcomed the arrival of our son, Jack Anthony Alphonsus, a very welcome ray of light. He is wonderful and Isla is beyond excited to be a big sister! D x" The caption sat alongside a picture of the tot's hand being held.
Just 12 hours after being posted, the message had already received more than 375,000 likes with a whole host of celebs and fans adding their messages of congratulations to the family.

Former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt, wrote: "Congratulations. Delighted for you all. Love the moffatts xx", while Holly Willoughby, who stepped into the ITV I'm a Celebrity hosting role when Ant McPartlin was in rehab, joined in posting: "Welcome to the world Jack… Isla will be the best big sister… hugest love x"
The comments continued. Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore said: "Delighted for you both! Congrats", with chef Jamie Oliver adding: "Congratulations to you all xxxxx"
And the celeb messages rolled in.: Presenter Cat Deeley wrote: "That is wonderful news ! Congratulations …. Sending love", and singer Katherine Jenkins, added her good wishes: "Congratulations guys! Best news ever. Thrilled for you"
Former footballer turned pundit, Alan Shearer, wrote: "Congratulations man", and the love for the family went on. Comedian, Alan Carr wrote: "Congratulations!!! Sending you so much love". Presenter, Fearne Cotton stepped in with: "Love you guys. So happy for you. Cannot wait to meet little Jack" and Davina McCall added: "Oh!!! That’s absolutely fantastic!!! Congratulations "
Dec and his talent manager wife Ali tied the knot in 2015. They already share one daughter, three-year-old Isla, together. However, the news from the ITV I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here and Britain's Got Talent presenter star came as a shock to followers, as the couple had not previously announced Ali's second pregnancy. Rumours had been circulating after she didn't attend the TV BAFTA Awards back in May.
The happy news comes just weeks after Dec's older brother, Father Dermott Donnelly, died at the age of 55 following a sudden illness.
