Love Island star Jacques O’Neill’s mother says she received death threats whilst he appeared on the ITV2 show and was forced to move in with her sister.
His mother Janet Wright, 60, who lives in Leeds, has revealed things took a turn for the worse during the infamous Casa Amor twist.
Her 23-year-old rugby player son's head turned from partner Paige Thorne whilst she was away at Casa Amor as he decided to crack on with air hostess Cheyanne Kerr.

Janet opened up in a new interview to The Sun where she revealed the vile hate she received from trolls online on social media.
She explained: "During the first two weeks Jacques was so funny, I think everybody loved him…. Then it started to change. I started to get horrible private messages on Facebook, people were saying they wished my son and I were dead, it was awful.”
She added: "I just didn't get why people have to message such nasty comments. The messages really hurt, strangers were saying to me that I was a bad mother and a bad parent. It was awful, especially as I brought him up by myself."
Jacques lives in Leeds with his mother and their dog, a French Bulldog called Zeu and during his time on the ITV Dating show, the mother was forced to seek refuge with other family due to the abuse she was receiving.
She exclaimed: "I had to go and stay with my sister for a week and a half because of the abuse I got. I was relieved when he finally left the villa as I couldn't watch it live.”
Janet added: “I had to get my sister to text me every night to say if it was OK to watch. I knew how much it was upsetting me.”
This comes after Jacques appeared on Love Island: Aftersun where he opened up on his time in the villa after watching Paige and Adam share a steamy smooch, despite hoping to continue a romance with the paramedic when the show finishes.
Chatting to host Laura Whitmore, the rugby player revealed: “We had a good connection and were really getting on.
"I did see things on the outside working between us but as I say, she's doing what she needs to do.”
Love Island airs nightly on Virgin Media TV at 9pm
