A devastating bus accident occurred in central Mexico, resulting in the loss of 24 lives and leaving five individuals injured. The incident took place at midnight on Friday as a bus was departing from Tepic in the state of Nayarit, en route to Ciudad Juarez in northern Mexico.
According to authorities, the crash was caused by a trailer detaching from a truck transporting corn on a highway. The detached trailer led to a collision with the passenger bus, causing it to tip over onto its right side.
