After several weeks of pre-release hype, we finally know when Dead By Daylight‘s second big crossover with Resident Evil is coming out. Uroboros enthusiasts – get ready.
On Friday, developer Behaviour Interactive announced that the Resident Evil Chapter 2 DLC for Dead By Daylight will release on Aug. 30, 2022. Also known as Project W, the mini-expansion was previously only available via Public Test Build (PTB) access.
Revealed during the Behaviour Beyond showcase several weeks ago, Resident Evil Chapter 2 brings fan-favorite characters like Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers back as survivors. Albert Wesker is also returning as a killer, oh-so appropriately titled “The Mastermind,” as he’s referred to in Resident Evil Resistance — Capcom’s spin on asymmetrical multiplayer before partnering with Behaviour Interactive.
Resident Evil Chapter 2‘s cinematic trailer came out not too long ago, and it’s well worth checking out.
Progress will be achieved, and Uroboros is the key.

The DLC will launch simultaneously for every version of Dead By Daylight, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
As you might expect, fans are in love with the crossover. The first Resident Evil Chapter was popular back when it launched in 2021. So the follow-up will likely be successful too.
