Met Eireann has indicated when the current warm spell of weather will end with a return of cooler temperatures and rain and showers.
The country is currently basking in glorious sunshine and the national forecaster predicts the warm spell will stick around for at least another week. In their latest update, Met Eireann said: "High pressure will dominate our weather for the coming week. It will be warm, dry and generally sunny with temperatures in the high teens or low twenties."
While Sunday will be a little cooler than Saturday with highs of 18 degrees, the good weather is forecast to remain over Ireland next week.

"Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry and largely sunny days. Warm with highest temperatures of 17 to 21 or 22 degrees generally," a Met Eireann forecaster said.
However, the east of the country will see temperatures dipping below 20 degrees due to "a light to moderate easterly breeze." Temperatures in the east will peak at around 17 or 18 degrees. Next weekend is also looking good with current weather models suggesting that high pressure will continue to dominate our weather "for the latter half of next week."
"It will stay dry with spells of sunshine and temperatures reaching the high teens or low twenties," Met Eireann said.
However, beyond that, it looks as though the weather will take a turn after the June Bank Holiday weekend. In its monthly forecast which predicts weather right up until June 25, Met Eireann is forecasting a lot of changeable weather.
For the week from June 5 to June 11, they say: "Early indications suggest high pressure will begin to decline as a more changeable weather pattern takes hold. Mean air temperatures are forecast to return to near-average values, coolest across the north of Ireland. There is likely to be some rain or showers at times, but overall the trend remains for somewhat drier than average conditions during the week."
For the following week, the picture looks largely the same although forecasters are "less confident" in their predictions this far out.
They said: "Confidence decreases in the forecast for the middle of June, but there is a trend towards changeable and at times unsettled weather during the period. Mean air temperatures are expected to be near or slightly above normal. After a rather dry start to June, it looks set to turn wetter with rainfall totals expected to be above normal in many parts of the country."
The final two weeks of June may also bring unsettled conditions with hopes then resting on July and August to deliver a heatwave for 2023.
