King Charles' first Birthday Honours List has been revealed, and it has more than a few famous faces on it. Footballers, fashion editors and TV stars have all been recognised for their outstanding achievements and commitment to Britain, alongside charity workers, educational leaders, and MPs.
This is the first Birthday Honours List from King Charles III since he became king. At New Year, the King released his first Honours List, which featured Queen guitarist Brian May, Countdown star Rachel Riley and four members of the England Women's football team.
The highest awards went to Vogue editor-in-chief Dame Anna Wintour and Booker Prize-winning novelist Ian McEwan, who were made Companions of Honour alongside Professor Sir John Bell, Regius Professor of medicine at the University of Oxford.
