Former Australia opener David Warner has pleaded guilty to a drink-driving charge in a Sydney court, admitting he got behind the wheel after failing a random roadside breath test in the city's eastern suburbs on April 5, according to the BBC. His lawyer, Bobby Hill, confirmed the guilty plea before the court.
Police stopped Warner during a routine breath test and then took him to Maroubra Police Station for further checks. There, he blew a blood alcohol reading of 0.104, more than double Australia's legal driving limit.
