David Walliams' future as a Britain's Got Talent judge is 'very much up in the air' after reports claimed he quit.
The comedian has been on the judging panel for the last 10 years and it was reported that he wanted to leave 'on a high'.
It comes after he was forced to apologise earlier this year after comments he made about contestants on the ITV show were leaked.
And now, a spokesperson for the talent competition said a final decision hasn't been made.
"The judging panel for Britain’s Got Talent 2023 will be announced in due course," the spokesperson said.
"It’s still very much up in the air at the moment on whether David is going to take part in next year’s show."
"No decision, though, has been made as yet," they added to PA.
A source previously claimed that David will be leaving the show, which is a decision he is said to have "not taken lightly".
He was believed to be preparing to formally confirm his decision to quit over the next few weeks.
"David has decided to bow out after a ten-year run. He wants to leave on a high after a wonderful time," a source told The Sun.
"Being on the show has been a huge source of entertainment and joy for him and he is arguably the most popular member of the panel.”
A source close to the judge said: “David has decided to bow out after a ten-year run. He wants to leave on a high after a wonderful time.”

His co-stars Amanda Holden, 51, Alesha Dixon, 44, and Simon Cowell, 63, are all expected to return to the show.
Earlier this year, a leaked transcript from the series revealed David made crude references about one woman and called a pensioner a 'c***' during filming for the programme in 2020.
David - who has been part of the judging panel on BGT since 2012 - apologised for making 'disrespectful comments', which were made during breaks for filming the show.
After David's comments were made available to the public, Simon refused to confirm whether the comedian would be returning to the next series.
