Sir David Beckham and Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher were among the famous faces celebrating England’s 2-1 World Cup quarter-final victory over Norway.
England will face Argentina in the semi-final after Jude Bellingham’s brace secured the Three Lions’ place in the last four.
Sir David, who visited the England squad during a training session in Miami earlier this week, shared a series of photos and videos from the match on his Instagram Stories, writing: “Brilliant from the lads.”
The Beckham children were also pictured alongside their parents in the stands during the match.
In another slide, the former England international celebrated Bellingham’s heroic two-goal effort with a picture of the midfielder captioned “Hey Jude”.
Lady Victoria Beckham shared a picture of herself and her husband watching the game with three of their children, captioning the post: “Special moment tonight in Miami with my family and for our country.”
Sentiments were echoed by Oasis singer Liam Gallagher, who said he wanted to see England bring the World Cup home.
During the tournament the band’s hit Wonderwall has become an unofficial anthem for England, with the players lining up after matches to sing it back to supporters.
Following England’s triumph, Gallagher said on X: “We’re winning this WC I don’t know how don’t care respect to all those players manager you gotta make it happen LG.”
Writing on X, the Prince of Wales also congratulated the team on a “top performance in a tough environment” in a personally signed message.
The future king wrote: “Well done England! Top performance in a tough environment. This is a special team.
“Commiserations to a proud Norway team. Onto the semi final… Never in doubt! W”
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer also joined in the celebrations, and acknowledged Bellingham for scoring both of England’s goals in a post to X.
He also tagged Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store and said: “Your boys took one hell of a beating.”
Brat star Charli XCX shared a snap of herself and others wearing football T-shirts with “Beckham” and “Rooney” on the back, while pop star Olly Murs posted a video of himself singing Wonderwall in the stadium after the win.
Other stars who attended the game in the US included Mick Jagger, tennis legend Venus Williams, Love Island presenter Maya Jama and comedian Jack Whitehall.
Crown Prince Haakon of Norway was also spotted in the stands with Fifa president Gianni Infantino.
Rocker Billy Idol posted on X: “Fantastic seeing England reach the semifinal of the World Cup really close though Norway played really well we were lucky in some ways.. I was on the edge of my seat!”
Meanwhile, Piers Morgan paid tribute to England boss Thomas Tuchel, calling him a “natural-born winner who refuses to accept anything but the best”.
Ahead of the match, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, 22, shared a photo of herself in an oversized red and white shirt embellished with the text “Fifa World Cup 2026”.
The actress later shared a photo of Bellingham after the match, accompanied by three England flags.
Emmy winner Mike Myers also expressed support for the England team, sharing a photo of himself saluting wearing the signature red uniform and black bearskin cap donned by the Guards regiments in the UK.
Shrek star Myers shared an additional snap in the costume but without his bearskin cap after the nail-biting match, and wrote: “Hats off to team England!! Job well done!!”
EastEnders star Ross Kemp shared a sweaty video from the gym ahead of the match, speaking about “positive vibes”.
The actor posted his reactions throughout the game, including screaming in support of Bellingham and appearing visibly emotional in a video praising him as “the man”.
After the game, Kemp said: “You know what? Respect to Norway, but your boat just got sunk.”
