Davante Adams’ dream QB scenario includes Patriots legend Tom Brady

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams indicated he wants to play with legendary quarterback Tom Brady.

Brady is currently in talks to become a minority owner for the Raiders. While his return would be far-fetched, Adams wants it to happen.

It’s understandable considering the struggles the Raiders have had at the quarterback position. Derek Carr, Jarrett Stidham, Jimmy Garoppolo, Aiden O’Connell and Brian Hoyer have all been under center for Las Vegas during Adams’ two-year tenure with the team.

However, Adams has still managed to produce during his time in silver and black with 203 catches for 2,660 yards and 22 touchdowns. He was recently on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast and talked about the potential of playing with Brady.

“Look, Tom know how I feel about him, man,” Adams said. “And the other part is I think I’d be the first person that played with Tom and Aaron [Rodgers]. So that would be pretty cool. I mean, he’s getting older, but he got to still be able to throw it better than half of these dudes in the league.”

An Adams-Brady connection would certainly be something that would excite the NFL.

Brady would have to come out of retirement first. That alone would create some major buzz. Crazy things happen in the NFL all of the time, but this would certainly top the list.

It’s safe to say Patriots fans probably wouldn’t love the idea of Brady returning for another team, especially after he was just inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame.

They can find solace in the likelihood this scenario remains in the pipe dream category.
