With the transfer window open and well underway, all talk is surrounding Liverpool and their move for Benfica striker Darwin Nunez.
The forward was linked with a move to Manchester United, but he is believed to have made it clear to his club that he only wants Liverpool so he can play Champions League football under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp.

According to the report, Nunez will not be playing for Uruguay against Panama tonight - in order to allow him to fly to England to complete a switch from Benfica to Liverpool.
The ECHO understands a fee is yet to be agreed between the two clubs, but Liverpool are hoping to strike a deal for a player who has emerged as their top summer target.
The Reds will not make a move at any cost and have noted Benfica's asking price of a flat €100million (£85.5m), although the Portuguese side are believed open to a structured deal which would see an initial €80m (£68.4m) set fee with €20m (£17.1m) in add-ons.
Liverpool's move for Nunez is understood to be linked to the future of Mane. The Reds want to buy the 22-year-old as a replacement for Mane and are reluctant to proceed until they receive guarantees over the transfer of the Senegalese star.

Bayern Munich have spoken to Mane and manager Julian Nagelsmann had a positive phone call with the forward, according to new reports. Mane apparently made it clear he only wants to join Bayern in the summer.
That is according to Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg, who gave an update on Twitter last night: "Bayern spoke to him and he had a positive phone call with Nagelsmann. Mané made clear that he wants to join #FCBayern! Bayern was impressed that Mané doesn’t have airs & graces. He made clear that he would do his best on every position.
"He should become a massive leading figure in the team. Bosses hope that players like Coman and Sané can get to another level alongside him. Negotiations are positive and ongoing. An agreement ist very likely".
It is thought that Liverpool want the Mane deal with Bayern to go through before pushing through with a move for Nunez from Benfica.

According to reports in Spain, Liverpool are prepared to pay Barcelona youngster Gavi £148,000 a week and are ready to pay the release clause of £42.7 million for the youngster.
