Liverpool new boy Darwin Nunez revealed he was taken aback by all the silverware on display as he finalised his blockbuster move to the Reds - and then declared that he was ready to win some of his own.
The 22-year-old headed into the summer as one of the most sought after strikers in Europe after plundering 26 league goals in just 28 games for Benfica. But Liverpool have fended off competition from a host of clubs to bring Nunez to Anfield in a deal that could rise to a club-record £85million.
Nunez's arrival is likely to coincide with the exit of Sadio Mane, who is expected to complete a switch to Bayern Munich in the coming weeks. And the Reds new striker opened up how he was lured to the Premier League by the club's heritage and his desire to win trophies.
