Darren Randolph is set to challenge Mark Travers and Neto for the Bournemouth gloves after closing in on a Cherries move.
The former Republic of Ireland goalkeeper, 35, is poised to make a permanent switch from West Ham on a short-term deal
Randolph joined the Hammers from Middlesbrough in January 2020 but has only made 10 first-team appearances in that time - the last of which was in May 2021.
But he will look to breathe fresh life into his career at Bournemouth, having entered the final six months of his West Ham deal.
Capped 50 times, Randolph was still the Ireland goalkeeper when Stephen Kenny succeeded Mick McCarthy and played eight times for the current boss.
But he quickly fell down the pecking order due to a lack of club action and hasn’t donned the jersey since the end of 2020.
This time last year, Bray man Randolph was linked with loan moves to Aston Villa and Leeds United.
Travers, 23, has been third-choice Ireland goalkeeper behind Southampton’s Gavin Bazunu and Caoimhin Kelleher of Liverpool.
He has 14 appearances for Bournemouth this season, but ex-Barcelona goalkeeper Neto - with 11 games under the belt - has started the last two Premier League games.
Neto only has six months left on his Cherries deal while Travers is under contract until 2027, having signed a fresh five-year deal last summer.
