Darby Kane's 2020 psychological thriller 'Pretty Little Wife' is being adapted into a drama series. The series will feature actress Gabrielle Union, who will also executive produce the show along with Barry Jossen and Tana Jamieson, reported Deadline.
'Pretty Little Wife' follows the story of two women-- a Black woman named Lily, who is suspected of killing her husband, and detective Ginny who is working on the case. In the process of finding who the real murderer is, the two women end up revealing each other's facades.
Gabrielle Union will be seen playing Lily's character.
'Meredith Lavender, Marcie Ulin and Kristen SaBerre will write and executive produce the project for Prime Video, from A+E Studios and Range Media Partners,' reported Deadline.
'Pretty Little Wife' is author Darby Kane’s debut thriller and it was a bestseller. Her next novel is also a thriller titled 'The Engagement Party', which is expected to be published in December 2023.
