Dannii Minogue says her 12-year-old son Ethan's friends have googled her topless Playboy shoot from 1995.
The Aussie star, 51, posed nude for the iconic magazine after she'd found fame in Home and Away, before becoming a singer.
Admitting she did the shoot because she was broke, Dannii insists she found it 'empowering' and fully accepts her son Ethan's mates have seen the photos.
Speaking about the experience, she said: "It was personally empowering to me. I still stand by those photos. I still think it's awesome.
"My son's 12, he and his friends are all on their phones, they'll be Googling, pictures will come up – but I still absolutely 100% stand by that as a complete feminist move.
"I controlled everything about the photos, the shoot, everything. And it just made me feel powerful."
Someone who didn't see the shoot as a power move was Dannii's dad.
She told The Guardian he strongly advised her against posing nude, pleading with his daughter to think about the consequences.
However, Dannii says while they haven't revisited the conversation yet, she hopes her father can see her point of view now she's a 'grown woman and a mum and still standing by her choice'.
Dannii spoke about her decision to strip off on Piers Morgan's Life Stories.
Defending the shoot, she said: "It was actually fun and I did feel liberated. I looked at the pictures and thought, 'I look all right!'. The magazine was the biggest selling title they had ever had and they had to reprint. My girlfriends went out to buy it and told me I looked beautiful. It then felt like a celebration of me."
Earlier this year, the I Begin to Wonder star reunited with her sister Kylie on stage in Sydney.
The siblings rarely perform together, but they broke tradition when they stunned the audience at the Sydney WorldPride Opening Concert.
Singing along to Kylie's All The Lovers, the sisters sent fans into a frenzy.
They appeared to be having a great time, dancing together on stage, as they held hands and cuddled.
To make the moment even more special, they sporting matching lace outfits, with Kylie in blue and Dannii in purple.
The last time the siblings shared a stage was in 2015 for a performance on The X Factor.
Dannii was a judge on the ITV show before she quit in 2011, saying she was 'broken' by the experience amid rumours of a feud with Sharon Osbourne.
