Dancing With the Stars saw a surprising elimination during week 3.
Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart were sent home, leaving the studio audience shocked and silent when their names were called. Hanson could be seen saying, “Wow.”
They are the fourth couple to have been sent home this season, joining Conner Leavitt and Adele Zaikman, Sarah Jane Nader and Hailey Bills, and Giada De Laurentiis and Alan Bersten.
At the end of week 3, tied atop the leaderboard were Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov, and Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson.
Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson were at the bottom.
Twelve couples remain in the hunt for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy. They’ll try to impress judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli when the competition resumes Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, with streaming available the next day on Hulu.

An Emmy Award winner for her DWTS choreography, Hough will star alongside Tony and Emmy winner Neil Patrick Harris and Austin Scott in the first production of Damn Yankees in more than 30 years, slated for an April 2027 opening night. She’ll take on the role of Lola, originated onstage in 1955 and in the 1958 film version by Gwen Verdon, who is widely regarded as one of Broadway’s finest dancers.
Asked by The Independent, at a press conference announcing the revival, which of her ballroom skills she feels will benefit her in one of the most iconic dance roles in Broadway history, Hough said: “I think the partnership and the family.”

When Taylor and Britt’s names were called, she looked at him and said: “Oh my God. I’m so sorry.”
Taylor just sad, “Wow,” to which Britt responded: “I’m really sorry.”
She smiled briefly for the cameras but looked absolutely crushed.
