Dancing on Ice's Connor Ball seen by medics after nasty fall leaves Phillip Schofield concerned

Connor Ball was left bleeding and shaken up after suffering a nasty fall, his second in as many weeks, during Sunday's Dancing on Ice.

The Vamps star was on for some very high scores from the judges last week, before he took a tumble and history repeated itself with more serious consequences as a skate blade went into his leg.

As well as being gutted by the mistake, Connor looked concerned as he and pro partner Alexandra Schauman got their scores and chatted to Dancing on Ice hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

This week's theme was Prop Week and after the likes of Regan Gascoigne and Stef Reid had skated with the likes of baseball bats and clothing rails, Connor and Alexandra had to contend with a mop and bucket.

One of the moves in the complex routine saw the couple try and do a lift involving the mop but everything went wrong and Connor fell to the ice.

While not immediately obvious if he was badly injured or not, it became apparent when talking to Holly and Phillip that something was up.

Before the judges had even given their scores, Phillip asked: "Are you ok? It's ripped your trousers."

Holly then offered Connor the chance to leave the ice straight away to go see a medic, but he opted to stay.

He replied: "I don't want to know what's gong on under there. I'll check after. The blade went into my leg."

Later on in the show, Holly gave an update to viewers, telling them medics were with Connor, before he and Alexandra made i through to next week on the public vote.

Shortly after Dancing on Ice finished, Connor took to Twitter to let fans know how he was, writing: "guys im okay, currently getting my leg stitched up but thank you so so so much for voting me through once again, you guys are actually incredible i’m too lucky honestly."
