Channel 5 news presenter Dan Walker has revealed that he will host Classic FM's breakfast show from Monday.
Walker will replace Tim Lihoreau who left the BBC radio show after almost 12 years in December.
He said: "This is an amazing chance to join one of the biggest radio stations in the country. I’m over the moon that I’m going to be part of Classic FM’s brilliant line-up and presenting the breakfast show is a wonderful opportunity.
"I am passionate about classical music and I’m a long-time listener – I also love the breakfast audience and I think they know me well so I can’t wait to get started."
Classic FM’s Managing Editor Philip Noyce said: "We look forward to him joining the Classic FM family with an engaging and rejuvenating programme, weekdays from 6.30am, to ease listeners into the start of their day."

Walker, who is known for his television presenting work, including Channel 5's Vanished: The Hunt For Britain’s Missing People, started his career on radio.
He had work experience at Hallam FM before getting a full time job at Key 103 in 1999.
His unexpected signing is part of a new schedule for Classic FM in 2024 with more details to be announced in the next few days.
The station recently switched from DAB to DAB+ on the national Digital One multiplex too.
Walker will continue his work with Channel 5 news.
Last February he hit the headlines after getting hit by a car while cycling.
The 45-year-old former BBC Breakfast presenter shared a series of images of his bloodied face while sitting in the back of an ambulance, alongside a selfie with the NHS staff who were caring for him.
Walker tweeted at the time: "Bit of an accident this morning. Glad to be alive after getting hit by a car on my bike. Face is a mess but I don’t think anything is broken... Thankful for our NHS."
