Nicola Adams, Dina Asher-Smith and Phillip Schofield are among the Olympians and celebrities to have shared their support for Dame Kelly Holmes after she publicly came out as gay in an emotional exclusive interview with the Sunday Mirror.
Holmes, 52, famously won two gold medals for Team GB at the 2004 Olympics in Athens and said she had lived a "secret life" for decades.
And the news has been met with an outpouring of support, with gold medal winning boxer Adams tweeting: "I'm so happy for Kelly Holmes, life is short and it’s important to be able to be your true self".
