The 19-year-old will stay with Burton for the remainder of the season, bolstering the League One side's attacking ranks after mainly playing in Premier League 2 for Forest this year.

The Burton Twitter account shared news of Taylor's debut goal, stating: "He's Cruyff'd it, ladies and lads! Smith feeds Hamer down the line. Tom takes a touch and drills a brilliant low ball in which Taylor touches in through his back leg. GET IN."

It was a fine finish, and fans were absolutely loving it.

Davo said: "The lad is going places."

Steve Stone's Mullet Twitter added: "Talent. Love near post finish."

A number of fans just used one word to sum up Taylor: "Baller."

Another supporter tweeted: "Burton could well stay up with the help of Dale. Top top player."

Aidan said "He's cooking", while Josh added: "Dale Taylor is far too good for us."

Another said: "Daleeeeee, this lad is going to be excellent."

There was also praise from another Northern Ireland youngster, Charlie Allen.

The Leeds United midfielder tweeted: "Get in the boy."
