Dakota Johnson suffers a wardrobe malfunction; netizens SLAM Jimmy Kimmel for not offering actress his jacket- WATCH

Dakota Johnson's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live didn't seem to go as planned as the actress experienced a wardrobe malfunction minutes into the show.

Johnson, who was promoting her new movie 'Daddio', was a guest on the late-night talk show when one of the straps of her dress broke half way into the show. In the show that aired, Jimmy sees the actress struggling with her strap and says, "Your dress just came unhooked, are you alright? Should I get some tape?"

Johnson, wearing a sleek black dress with thin gold straps, responded, "My dress… it just fell off."

Kimmel reassured the actress, who then spent the remainder of the interview holding onto the strap. "I'll just hold it," she said, managing the situation with grace.

However, the incident did not sit well with viewers. Many took to the comments section to express their frustration with Kimmel for not offering his jacket to Johnson.

"Jimmy, next time offer your jacket man," one user wrote.

Another added, "Was his jacket glued on? Why did he not offer it?"

Others criticized the show's crew for not stepping in to assist Johnson. "I can't believe nobody came out to help her! The whole time, Jimmy just keeps going, and none of the crew comes out!" one viewer commented.

Another suggested, "Couldn't you slip in a commercial break and let her fix the dress?"

The backlash continued with comments such as, "Jimmy Kimmel, shame on you for not helping her."

Despite the incident, Johnson continued the interview, discussing her role in Daddio, in which she stars alongside Sean Penn.

In another video, the star was seen walking backstage after the interview, still holding onto her dress strap.
