Daisy Edgar-Jones has told how her father, one of the co-creators behind British reality TV series Big Brother, gave her some essential "words of wisdom" before she shot to fame.

The 28-year-old actress became a household name when she appeared in limited TV series Normal People in 2020, and she remains extremely grateful to her dad, British television executive and producer Philip Edgar-Jones, for advising her to remain grounded during her ascent to fame.
