PUNE: The daily vaccination figures for the whole of Pune district last week dropped to the low figure of below 10,000 doses per day.
According to data on the government portal CoWIN, until May 14, the region saw average per day vaccination figures surpassing 10,000 doses. However, the number dropped consistently thereafter. The drop in Covid-19 cases as well as vaccine fatigue are being considered the main factors resulting in the poor turnout, experts have said.
