A busy mum, and school dessert cook, is celebrating after shedding eight stone. The decision to shed the weight came after she was left feeling embarrassed about her size 22 mourning outfit at her father’s funeral, back in December of 2020.
Since then, she shed eight stone, replaced her black clothes with bright colours. She has even dyed her blonde hair orange to celebrate.
Speaking about her experience, Kat Milner, 35, said that she was “like a little pudding and the round kid” even at school and, until recently, hated what she saw in the mirror. However, she was given a wake-up call when she could not find a suitable dress to fit to say goodbye to her dad Andrew, when he died, aged 71.
