And one British Gas customer was left stunned after receiving a bill from the supplier who was trying to raise direct debit from £350 to a whopping £1,320 a month, reports Yorkshire Live.
Father-of-four Andy Hirst worries that there could be thousands more British Gas customers finding themselves in the same predicament, with no idea their direct debits could be set to soar.
