Police are appealing to the public after a cyclist was assaulted in Hamilton.
A man got out of his car and assaulted the 47 year-old cyclist who was cycling with a young boy at the time.
The incident happened at around 7.30pm on June 1, at the junction of Kelvin Gardens and Hillhouse Road in Hamilton.
The victim sought medical treatment and later reported the incident to police on June 5. The 14 year-old boy who he was accompanied with was not injured.

The suspect is white, in his early 20s to 30s, with blond spikey hair. He was wearing Stone Island clothing.
Officers have been reviewing CCTV footage from in and around the area as part of their ongoing enquiries.
Detective Constable Stephen Belcher said: “The motive for this attack is unknown and it’s vital we find the person responsible for this attack. From our enquiries, so far, we know the area was busy with people and motorists and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area who may have seen something to contact us. Ideally, if anyone has dash cam footage from the area, please pass it on as it could assist our investigation.”
