A Hays Travel customer says he was left with around £20 spending money after arriving in New York to find his pre-booked hotel 'hadn't been paid'.
Michael Hulme booked the £1,168 package through the firm's Newcastle-under-Lyme branch for the four-day break to The Gallivant Times Square hotel with his partner Kerry Barlow, StokeonTrentLive reports.
The 59-year-old grandfather was left stunned, however, after hotel staff in the Big Apple told him his room had not been paid for.
