Currys unveil range of low energy appliances including washing machines, fridges and more

The start of April meant a rise in energy bills, some quite drastically for many of us in the UK.

Whilst some prices may not have risen as heavily, overall the cost of living is undoubtedly seeing many of us feeling the pinch and some of the tech retailers are beginning to respond.

Currys is the UK's largest tech retailer and last week, announced a 'Go Greener' range of eco-friendly and sustainable household appliances, with new offers on LG, Samsung and Bosch launching online and in-store.

This new category allows customers to filter tech to products which save the most energy, water, reduces food waste, saves materials too.

Shoppers will be able to save up to 30% online on sought-after products to help with the big squeeze.

You can view all products from the range here and if that wasn't enough, Currys is offering free delivery and will also pick up your old appliances for recycling, completely free. This service usually costs £30, so we can't be mad at another way to save.

These price reductions will end on April 26 and are subject to availability, but the Go Greener section is here to stay.

Matt Manning, Group Carbon and Environment Manager at Currys, says: “We are delighted to be able to offer our customers an incredible range of Go Greener tech with brilliant savings.

As the UK’s largest tech retailer and largest tech recycler, we’re making continued progress to ensure we are offering the best products that will not only help consumers save money, but will also help reduce their impact on the planet too."

And if you're keen to save money on more than just appliances around the home, no need to worry because there's plenty of deals available separately too.

Currys Epic deals sale is back for Easter, meaning many of the deals will end tomorrow (April 19), but there's still hundreds of offers still to be had on top tech items.
