No jobs are expected to be lost at a Lanarkshire shopping centre after it went into administration.
We reported how Antonine Shopping Centre in Cumbernauld was forced to call in administrators earlier this week with a buyer now being sought for the mall.
Local MSP Jamie Hepburn has now confirmed that he has met with one of the administrators and has received reassurances about its future.

Taking to social media, he said: "Today Stuart McDonald MP and I met with one of administrators for the Antonine Centre, to discuss the news it had entered administration this week. We sought and were given reassurances on behalf of staff, tenants and suppliers that the administrators would seek to run the centre as normal, as they look to find a buyer for it, and that no jobs or supplier contracts were under threat.
"It was certainly reassuring to be told that there would be no redundancies amongst staff, or changes to supplier or tenant contracts. We understand that they are looking to attract interest with a view to selling the centre with the expectation that a buyer will be found and that trading and its operation should continue as normal meantime."
The 200,000 sq ft mall has served the community since 2007, boasting 42 retail units as well as 1,100 car park spaces. An estimated 35 million walk through the shopping centre every year.
TK Maxx, Next and TJ Hughes as well as many other high street retailers have called the centre home over the last 16 years.
