Crystal Palace host Fulham this afternoon on Boxing Day as the Premier League returns after a six-week break.
The Eagles had four friendlies while the World Cup was being played, including one against Serie A table-toppers Napoli, and Patrick Vieira’s side will be confident of hitting the ground running as they look to move up into the top half of the table.
As for Fulham, they conceded 95th- and 93rd-minute winners to Manchester City and Manchester United respectively just before the World Cup, but still sit ninth after an impressive start to life back in the Premier League.
Here is everything you need to know about today’s second London derby as the top-flight resumes.

Crystal Palace vs Fulham team news
Palace should be close to full strength, with Joachim Andersen and Jordan Ayew their only players involved at the World Cup. Neither made it out of the group stages and so should be fully rested.
The Eagles will be without Marc Guehi though due to suspension, after he picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Nottingham Forest before the break.
Fulham should not be too affected by the World Cup either, with none of their six players at the tournament making it beyond the last-16 stage.
Aleksandar Mitrovic failed to make it out of the group with Serbia but is a doubt for the trip across south London. Fulham could welcome back winger Manor Solomon, who suffered a knee injury at the start of the season, though Antonee Robinson and Layvin Kurzawa will also need to be assessed ahead of kick-off.
Crystal Palace vs Fulham prediction
Chelsea and Arsenal are the only sides to have beaten Palace at Selhurst Park so far this season, with Vieira’s side always tough opposition on home soil.
Fulham were one of the success stories of the first part of the season though their defence is an issue, with only three sides in the league conceding more goals. In the first match back in front of their fans, Palace have the players to exploit that.
Palace to win, 2-1.
