Crystal Palace are in talks with Sunderland over a deal to sign Jobe Bellingham.
The 18-year-old midfielder, the brother of Real Madrid and England star Jude, is thought to be one of Oliver Glasner's leading transfer targets this summer.
Bellingham, who joined the Black Cats from Birmingham last year, scored seven goals in 45 Championship appearances during a difficult season for the Wearside club.
Palace have frequently shopped in the EFL market over the years and have managed to keep sporting director Dougie Freedman at the club despite interest from Newcastle.
Freedman is seen an integral to the signings of Adam Wharton, Eberechi Eze, Marc Guehi and Michael Olise, all of whom were plucked from the Championship.
Bellingham would fit that profile and despite only having signed a long-term contract at the Stadium of Light last year, he could again be on the move as Palace's summer plans start to take shape.
Morocco centre-back Chadi Riad was due to undergo a medical with the Selhurst Park club on Wednesday ahead of a £14m move from Barcelona.
