The world's biggest cruise fanatic has spent 23 years living on board the vessels.
Former financier Mario Salcedo says he has no regrets after turning his back on a conventional life, in exchange for a life on the sea. Since the age of 47 he has lived on cruise ships, apart from a 15 month break due to the Covid pandemic.
The Mirror reports the reason he transformed his life back in the year 2000. "Adopting a cruise-ship life is basically escaping from reality," he said.
