Cruise ship Costa Favolosa has arrived in Liverpool.
The ship, which has more than 500 balcony cabins, six restaurants and up to nine swimming pools and hot tubs has berthed at Liverpool Cruise Terminal on Wednesday, May 31.
The cruise liner is currently five days into a 16 day, round-trip around Europe from Bremerhaven. Costa Favolosa set off from Germany on May 27 and will return when the trip ends on June 12.

However those departing from Liverpool can enjoy an 11 day trip from the city to Amsterdam. After leaving Liverpool, the cruise will continue to Greenock-Glasgow, on June 1, before carrying on the journey to Belfast, Invergordon, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Dover, Paris, Bruges and Amsterdam.
Travellers have been spotted on the Pier Head, taking photographs with the Beatles statues and admiring the Three Graces, after stepping off the ship.
Costa Favolosa mainly offers Northern Europe itineraries , with trips ranging from four days to 16 days. It was launched in 2011, boasting 13 decks, with a capacity of 3800.
Earlier this month, Liverpool was surprised with a visit from The Queen Mary 2. The cruise liner departed from Southampton on May 2 and arrived in Liverpool on May 3. The special Coronation celebration voyage was announced at the last minute, with people being able to bag five nights on the vessel from £499 per person.
