Crude Climbs on Dollar Weakness and Economic Optimism

Oil United States Nymex EIA China Natural Gas

May WTI crude oil (CLK23) this morning is up +1.22 (+1.67%), and May RBOB gasoline (RBJ23) is up +0.50 (+0.19%).  May Nymex natural gas (NGK23) is down -0.070 (-3.21%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices this morning are moderately higher.  Dollar weakness today is pushing energy prices higher.  Also, today's rally in the S&P 500 to a 3-1/2 week high bolsters confidence in the economic outlook and energy demand and is positive for crude prices.
