A GROUP of cross-party MPs are urging the UK Government to back bridges and tunnels for island communities – especially for those on Shetland and the Western Isles.
The Scottish Affairs Committee, made up of six Labour representatives, two Conservatives, two Liberal Democrats and one from the SNP, wants solutions to ageing and unreliable ferry networks.
